I think there’s a point in everyone’s life where they realize that despite their best efforts, they have no choice but to surrender. That carrying on will only bring them more pain or heartache. I don’t think there’s any way that we can avoid these moments. But I just want you to know that I’m not quite there yet. Tessa Clare
About This Quote

A few months ago, I read this quote. It was on a piece of paper taped to the wall of a coffee shop. The quote was from the movie "Fight Club". This quote came at just the right time for me.

I had just begun contemplating the idea of giving up even more of myself, but that is something that I have never done before. I am not quite there yet.My pain is not yet so great that it would be beneficial for me to give up. Although I seem to see signs in every direction telling me to give up, I am still able to overcome these signs and continue on in my life.

What keeps me going is the thought that there is no reason for me to give up now. No one has ever given up because they truly gave up hope; they gave up when they felt like there was nothing more left in them to give.
